Ruby Mae Parker, 73, of Kinston, died July 7, 2007 at Britthaven of Kinston. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Saunders Funeral Home in Jacksonville with the Rev. Arthur Lofton Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Boss Parker Cemetery in Richlands. Survivors include her sisters, Josephine Grady, Alice Best and Annette Hall, all of Kinston, Myrtle Parker of Richlands, Betty Lou Jones of Pink Hill, Eunice Morgan of Washington, D.C., Edna Andrews of Waldorf, Md., Shirley Mills and Patricia Parker. both of New Haven, Conn.; and brothers, Leo Parker of New Haven Conn., Joseph Parker Jr. of Elizabeth, N.J.. and Eugene “James” Parker of Wake Forest. The Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, July 12th, 2007 at Saunders Funeral Home, 210 Bell Fork Road, Jacksonville, NC.
