Kinston Free Press Tuesday, May 11, 1948 MRS. REDDITT DIES; RITES 4 WEDNESDAY: Mrs. Sarah Bland Redditt, 81, widow of A. T. Redditt, died at her home at 201 West Peyton Avenue at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral will be held from the residence at 4 p.m. Wednesday, with interment in Maplewood Cemetery. Her pastor, Rev. Howard G. Dawkins of the First Baptist Church; Rev. Thomas H. Hamilton of the First Presbyterian Church, and Rev. Edwin F. Moseley, rector of St. Mary's Episcopal Church will officiate. Mrs. Redditt was a daughter of the late C. C. and Elizabeth Boyd Bland. Her husband died about 37 years ago. She was long a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, which she attended regularly until a few weeks ago. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Rose Bland of Kinston, Mrs. T. R. Lee of Kinston and several nieces ad nephews. Active pallbearers will be Roy Poole, Jesse A. Jones, A. L. Hobgood, Jack Rouse, A Street Lee, Dr. H. Fleming Fuller, Quincy Hart and George Knott, Jr.
