Tommie Gooding, 81, of Box 231, Kinston Rt. 3 died Thursday at Hampton General Hospital in Hampton, Va. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Vine Swamp Church of Christ with Bishop A. L. Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include one foster daughter, Mrs. Bessie Williams Smith of Hampton, Va.; and three foster sons, Henry Williams Jr. of Kinston, Theodore Williams of Rocky Mount and Larry Williams of Trenton, N.J. Lane’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
