Virginia Hoffman Perry KINSTON - Virginia Hoffman Perry, 87, of 3705 Random Road, passed away at her home on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at Lenoir Memorial Hospital for several years, and was a long time attendee of the Kinston/Galaxy Seniors Dance Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Perry, and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 from the chapel of Garner Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Vernon and Pastor Dexter Wasson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Sue Gray and husband, Marvin of Cape Carteret; Mary Martin Bell and husband, Jack of Kinston; her sister, Lida Webb and husband, Glenn of Gatesville; her sisters-in-law, Doris Hoffman of Charlotte and Remona Hoffman of Kinston; her grandchildren, Jeanne Kaye Gray and life companion, Kris Kastner of Emerald Isle, Jeffrey Gray of Norfolk, Va. and friend, Kim Hutcheson of Plano, Texas and Coleman B. Becton and husband, Darren of Kinston; step grandchildren, Kari B. Huggins and husband, Glenn of Kinston and LaDonna B. Harbertson and husband, Mark of Fuquay Varina; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Reed Gray and Jesse and Emily Gray; step great-grandchildren Taylor and Dylan Cade and Lonna and Bryce Harbertson; several nieces and nephews.
