Obituary of William Larry Allison ~ 2010

GOLDSBORO - William Larry Allison, 63, of Goldsboro, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010. Larry was born in Lenoir County on October 2, 1946, to Ouida Kennedy Allison and the late Tate Harden Allison. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Nell Allison; and brother, Charles Leonard Allison. He was a retired Master Mechanic; a member of the LaGrange First Baptist Church; and served his Country with the U. S. Army, working with the Corps of Engineers. Survivors include his daughter, Erica Allison Mayberry and husband Robert, of Goldsboro; sons Chris Toteno of Fort Hood, Texas and Kevin Toteno of Kinston; grandchildren Macayla Vandiford and Dallas Mayberry; mother Ouida Allison of Kinston; and sisters, Patricia Bird and Pamela Antwine, both of Kinston. The family will receive friends from 4-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at the home of Fran Gibbons, 301 West Boundary Street, LaGrange. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Pinelawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Ronnie Hobgood officiating. Arrangements by Howard-Carter Funeral Home.
