Obituary of Woodrow Taylor -- 2004

PINK HILL – Woodrow Taylor, 78, of 305 H. C. Turner Road, died Wednesday, 
June 2, 2004 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Taylor was preceded in death 
by a son, Charles Woodrow Taylor.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, 
June 5, at the chapel of Pink Hill Funeral Home.  Burial will be held at Pleasant 
Hill Christian Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Grace Taylor; 
three daughters, Beverly Taylor and husband, Rommie Outlaw, Jr. of Mount 
Olive, Lorrie T. Hardison and husband, Elmer C. Hardison, Jr. of Deep Run and 
Alice Taylor Kennedy and husband, Jeffrey Steven Kennedy, of Pink Hill; two 
sons, Dennis Gerold Taylor and wife, Darlene Morton, of Jacksonville, Fla., and 
Chris Neal Taylor and wife, Laureen Bain Taylor, of Pink Hill; four sisters, Lula 
Bell Quinn of Pink Hill, Sudie Houston of Richlands, Edna Schimel of Indiana and 
Jean Eubanks of Nevada; three brothers, Raymond Taylor of Kinston, the Rev. 
O. B. Taylor of Pink Hill and Wilbert Taylor of Georgia; 16 grandchildren; and 14 
great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 4, at the 
chapel of Pink Hill Funeral Home.   (Paid obituary)
