March 10, 1922. Charlotte Observer. YANCEY T. ORMOND Kinston, March 9 - The body of Yancey T. Ormond, former state senator for this district, was brought here for burial today from Ayden, where he died last night. Mr. Ormond was in his sixty-fourth year. He was widely known as a Methodist layman. Illness caused him to miss the last annual conference of his church for the first time in many years. The conference took official cognizance of his absence. Please do not contact me as I do not have any information on these individuals.
